I live in FL. people move in and out of here all the time. About half of my friends have been here for more than a year and still have plates on their cars from other states, and licenses as well...that means nothing. Did you want hand holding after he left? The job he dreamed of opened up and he jumped. I truly think he would have been here for a while- and we would have been good.

So they drive around with expired out of state tags?
what about this is so hard to understand? I give up.
Because once you become a resident of another state you have x amount of days to change your tag & license. At best you can wait until they expire but it's not exactly legal. In the case of your friends I assume they are dual residents of 2 states.
I know, right? Legally Kiff had 30 days to obtain a TN license. He went to far as breaking a minor law to keep from being a TN resident. He thinks we're a bunch of hillbillies. He thought he was above the job, but ours was the only job on the table for him.
