Pretty much, but wasn't that definite. I don't think it meant for it to be some on the record declaration.

Said something to the effect of "I wouldn't be shocked" if Hart has put out feelers or "I'm almost sure Hart has started talking to reps or through back channels".

He said he guaranteed. If you guarantee that is confirming. You have to at this stage. It doesn't mean Dooley will be fired, but you have to plan ahead so you don't get behind.

I know one coach that was contacted before we played a game this year. So Low's information isn't necessarily wrong but deceptively true.

I just took it as it was something he was discussing.

He didn't say "I know they have made contact". Regardless, I certainly hope Hart is on his toes and is staying out in front of any potential developments.

Neither here nor there really, though.


Anyhow....

Isn't Bob LaMonte Gruden's agent?

I understand what you are saying about Low.

But he is connected... more so with older regimes, but he still has contacts.

And the coach I am talking about isn't just a recent conversation.

My point is ADs are constantly updating their contingency lists in the event something happens to their HC. Not that most ADs are looking to hire new HCs every year.

I hope you're not talking about HDN.
