If ut loses to mizzou after vandy beat them on the road then that would be a new all time low.... And i thought the kentucky game was embarrassing

Nobody answered my question so I guess AD Hart didn't appear before the press and make any announcements yet.

I have to wonder how all you Grudenites will feel if CDD is still the coach here next season.

I think we will be a 4-5 win team. If Bray and Hunter go pro 3-4.

And I will hate it.

Can dooley do any wrong in your eyes? I mean what is it going to take 4 consecutive losing seasons 6 8? I mean what is it going to take

Dooley uses Dapper Dan and says britches. Makes him a downright good feller in my book, dagnabbit! You you younguns got yer minds all messed up listenin to that Dan Fogelberg and yer bell bottom britches are too dern tight.

I know Dooley has his back against the wall and odds are against him being able to stay at UT. I am now on record as saying I do not want John Gruden as UT's next coach. I would give someone like Chip Kelly everything and more UT would offer John Gruden. Nick Saban type pay.

Besides with Tebow. When has the spread won anything? Oregon will probably play Bama in the BCSNC and will get killed.

Sorry, not a Chip Kelly guy. If not Gruden. Jack Del Rio or Carroll if he doesn't get it done this year. But I am a Gruden guy.

I'm certainly NOT a fan of CDD.

I'm a Tennessee Vols fan and always will be.

I cheer for my UT Vols and that includes ALL coaches and players until the AD decides a coaching change is needed.

I don't call facts and reasons "excuses" just to fit my agenda because nobody here on VN can make the AD do anything at all.

Nobody here can say if CDD is a good coach or not until UT has a 2 deep player roster with alot of future NFL players on it like all the top SEC teams have so the player talent is close to equal.

The ONLY professional Coach that KNOWS for certain if CDD is a good coach or not is Nick Saban since he trained CDD as a coach for 7 years and since Saban made CDD his Assistant HEAD COACH so Saban would know if he was sick or injured that his team was in the best hands and THAT says alot more to me than a bunch of wanttobe armchair coaches on a silly message board.

If AD Hart decides we need a new coach then I may not like the new HC he hires but I WILL support all coaches since they're coaching my Vols.

CDD only has 2 of his recruiting classes on campus as Sophs and Freshmen and some JUCO players he got.

If he's still here next season I hope he brings in another good recruiting class and continues to upgrade our player roster.

I'll EXPECT more improvement and more Wins next season since I did NOT over expect this season as I said all Summer and that this year we're a 7 Win team and 8 Wins or more is a good season and proves improvement.

The longer CDD is here and gets more of his players on the roster the more improvement I'll EXPECT.

As a decades long Tennessee fan I normally expect 9 or 10 Wins EVERY year but I never expected to see our player roster totally destroyed by lousy recruiting (Fulmer) and yanking 25 or more schollies (kiffScim) and leaving us with a roster that couldn't even compete well in the lousy ACC.

I well know the reasons and facts about why we're so bad but I never call reasons or facts "excuses" just to push a agenda that also will set our program BACK another 4 to 5 years minimum.

IF CDD is still here another year or 2 and we're still this bad then I may join you people but most likely I'll send the AD a registered letter so I know he got it and I'll lay out the facts in an intelligent manner and see if I get a reply.

I might then also start a petition to get a new coaching staff and I guarantee you that if I want press coverage on the issue I most certainly WILL get the press to hear what I have to say.

I just went back and read a couple more posts so let this be known...

I would NOT want any new Head Coach that runs a spread O, NEVER.

THINK people...Spread may win some games but recruiting makes the world go around.

Players getting drafted into the NFL makes the recruiting alot better.

CDD got some things right like running a PRO type program.

High School kids biggest dream is getting drafted into the NFL and making big $$$.

PRO college systems put more kids into the NFL than anything else.

More that do NOT make it in the NFL come from spread O systems.

I don't care who plays the spread...as long as it's NOT at Tennessee.

Dooley sucks, his 3rd year product is terrible. They always miss assignments, and we always get beat by the good teams. I'm sick of **** football.
