BTW, I've never seen any signs that CDD is going to get there.

I saw improvement in the Ga game but the results were the same. SoCar season will be the same. They will look good and fail in the end.

Friend of mine sat next to him on a flight. They ran out of towels.

I went to one of his motivation speeches years ago, early 80's, in Reno of all places. Had no idea who he was or why he was giving a motivation speech to aerospace workers (Boeing AeroSpace). But he was impressive. Motivated me. Told me I was a winner. Reno proved him wrong.

CDDs path of getting to "elite" status cannot be based on one game against a team that looks to be overrated.

Yes! CDD's one game Vs Ga is a metaphor for SoCar. Neither will ever be elite.

I'd definitely take my chances with USCe this year. Be interesting to see how they do next week.

We're also seeing how bad our defense really is. People thinking that we're gonna roll into Starksville and win easily are crazy. Unless our defense has a transformation this week, it'll be hard a hard fought win if we can get it.

Wouldn't try and drill anything Smokey. Just let them come to the realization themselves and it will make a longer lasting impression. Should be in the next game or two I'd say.
