Does anyone know the general cost of day care for a nearly 2 year old in the Chattanooga area?

My son goes to Grace over off of Dayton Blvd. Where it meets up with 153. $100 a week for three days a week and when we put him in full time it goes to $125 a week. There are plenty of places out there but this is the cheapest place I have found that does more than just baby sit. They teach the kids different things. That price also includes breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack. My wife and I have been happy with them. They have also helped us with potty training too.

Thanks! We have tried to keep her at home as a stay at home mom but it just isn't working financially.

This is not Teester, but the pic is a spot on likeness...

My brother in law and sister in law are finding that out the hard way right now. She got laid off from her job about four years ago and they decided that she wouldn't go back to work. Now after two kids they are some what paying for it. She is working part time but is trying to find a full time job so they can get caught up on bills.

She really don't want to put him in daycare. Se owuld ratehr find a part-time night job she says. She just don't understand that that is not an option. I'm sick of stressing the whole situation and she just isn't helping.

Working with kids at church and school I've all but decided my kids will go to a babysitter/daycare fairly quickly. We have a generation of kids who have such separation anxiety they can't function n I can't deal with all that drama.

My oldest neice is that way. She has such bad seperation anxiety from her mother that she will make herself sick at school and won't eat all day. I feel bad because some times I lose my temper with her when she is with us. She will out of the blue just start crying for her mom and I just can't handle it sometimes.

Wouldn't trade anything for my kids. Couldn't imagine life without them.

Oh I know, I'm excited that my brother is expecting his first in a month, love seeing my mom so excited. My sister doesn't want kids, so my brother is having the litter for us, since I stand 80/20 to not have them.
