Its not that D²> Gruden. Its that there are many, many more options that are better than Gruden. If championships is your one and only criteria for a new HC then there are many more qualified than Gruden

Howard Schnellingberger
Dennis Erickson
Lloyd Carr
Bob Stoops
Jimmy Johnson

Every one has one a cfb national championship - something that Gruden has NEVER done. Automatically makes them more qualifed. Why dont you get on the Coker train then?

Its beyond stupid to rely solely on one stat - a SB win - as the reason to hire him as a coach and completely ignore his entire coaching tenure as well as accomplishments/failures.

Yes, but Coker won a NC his first year at the U, with another coache's players. As said before, it works both ways with that.

I think there are a lot of coaches that have won championships with someone's players but that shouldn't take away the credit said coach should be given for that championship...Gruden isn't the first to do that and sure won't be the last.:twocents:

Yeah, it's worth it though..Just sticking up for what I believe in.:salute:

Grudenites will be holding the fort down b/c our leader will be unavailable for a few days..Other contributions are welcome.:)
