DG runs with the strength and power of Travis Henry while having with the burst and speed of Jamal Lewis---when comparing at this stage of development.

Acc to ESPN, Green (4.31) is A LOT faster than UF's Taylor (4.6) and Bama's Henry (4.7). Kamara (4.55) is faster than these two guys too. No reason we don't get both Green and Kamara.

He gets chased down from behind in a couple of his runs...I really don't think he has breakaway speed. He is a power back first and foremost.

There's a difference between football speed and straight speed. But even with that said, Derrick Green has a lot of both.

right now your wrong but once green gets in the weight room and puts of 10 to 15 pounds this summer he'll probly slow it down. But Kamara's time is a 4.55 from what i've heard. so i hope he gets faster. I think once Green gets to 230 his forty time will be anywhere from a high 4.4 to a high 4.5 maby 4.6 at the worst.

Saw a pretty big dude with some wheels on the field last Saturday. Looked like he wasn't having any troubles.
