In the office, watching the rain spin the different directions, kind of a cool effect when the drops start bouncing off of each other.

Dang, I don't think we've had that much. It's been raining all day but not heavy. The hard stuff is showing up just in time for the ride home and for our football game.

I was surprised to hear that we had that much. I knew that it had been raining most of the night but I didn't think it was that much. Guess that's what I get for thinking.

Stepped outside and didn't expect it to be so chilly!!!

Kevins coworker made these chocolate cupcakes filled with cheesecake topped with cream cheese icing for his birthday today, he brought me home one. Can't wait to have it!

You never come back from copperhead road...

Well my name's John Lee Pettimore Same as my daddy and his daddy before You hardly ever saw Grandaddy down here He only came to town about twice a year He'd buy a hundred pounds of yeast and some copper line Everybody knew that he made moonshine Now the revenue man wanted Grandaddy bad He headed up the holler with everything he had It's before my time but I've been told He never came back from Copperhead Road Now Daddy ran the whiskey in a big block Dodge Bought it at an auction at the Mason's Lodge Johnson County Sheriff painted on the side Just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside Well him and my uncle tore that engine down I still remember that rumblin' sound Well the sheriff came around in the middle of the night Heard mama cryin', knew something wasn't right He was headed down to Knoxville with the weekly load You could smell the whiskey burnin' down Copperhead Road

I volunteered for the Army on my birthday They draft the white trash first,'round here anyway I done two tours of duty in Vietnam And I came home with a brand new plan I take the seed from Colombia and Mexico I plant it up the holler down Copperhead Road Well the D.E.A.'s got a chopper in the air I wake up screaming like I'm back over there I learned a thing or two from ol' Charlie don't you know You better stay away from Copperhead Road

You have me curious to where you stand on the direction of the program and what needs to be done/not done. I like that we can have conversations about it in here without all the drama.

Not to get the discussion sideways, but can I quickly point out that it's a bunch of men that are causing the drama? :)

I'm just not sure at this point. This is what I think at this point.
CDD has made progress as of late. I think we finish 9-3 this year and he will be back next year (even with 8-4). Everyone makes a big deal out of his past record but I don't. I see the problems being addressed. I see a man TN can be proud of.
Will we see a big step forward next year? I think we will find out.

I just finished watching the D Dooley show on dvr. I am impressed by what our VOLS did. My biggest criticism goes to Bray. He has got to perform under pressure better. It seems that he thinks he is on a one man team when the going gets tough. He has to mature. We, including myself, are quick to forget that he has very few big games under his belt. I am feeling good about the highlights I saw. I didn't see the game though. My useless prediction is that we will start seeing what we have expected from this team. They hopefully realized how good they are if they just play four quarters. Minus a few panic moments from Bray and a few missed catches TN could have very well got their first big time win in a long long time. It is too bad that our shot at winning the east is gone. I am leaning back towards CDD's side. The youth on this team seams to be really really good. AJ45 is a monster and only a sophomore. I am cautiously optimistic. A good showing for the rest of the season will reel on some top recruits that we are in the hunt for and that would be huge. Maybe Dooley is wright. Patience may pay off for us. Only time will tell.

Let's tighten up and get a win on the Third Saturday In October.

GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!
