Johnny and Phil both coached longer than either should have at UT. John didn't pass a whiskey bottle he didn't take a sip out of, and Phil refused to wake up to the 21st century and stayed way too loyal to assistants that should have been let go years before.

How much is left on raleigh, pearl, and hamilton?

Raleigh and Pearl were paid off in July. Fulmer will be paid off at the end of the year. A little over 775k left on Hamilton over almost 2 more years. Baggetts buyout is still out there.

Must also include: Poor record against FL, upset loss against Wyoming, losing seasons at end of career, marked step down in recruiting talent to be fair. Yes, Phil brought us a NC and he was a good coach for many years. Certainly better than the former coach Johnny, but Phil got lazy and relied on asst. coaches that should have been fired (insert Randy Saunders name here among others) and in the end, it cost him because it took the whole program down before he left. I will also add we certainly have not fixed things yet either with the two hires since Phil. I do not think we are in much better shape than at the time Phil left.
