Da Reds thread

Loving this early lock up. Gives them a chance to get some guys healthy and rested, as well as some of the minor league guys some work. Need to get Chappy some work before the playoffs as well. Will be fun to see which wild card makes it besides Atlanta.

Locked the playoffs and down to 3 for the division. Is Spier a great bench coach or what? Dodgers coming to town. Time for a smack down with a broom to follow. I came out of the womb despising the Dodgers and Yankees.

Went to the game last tonight and today. Pretty cool to see a team clinch and dog pile in person. And to see Chapman in person.

Also, the atmosphere and game production in Cincy blows Atlanta out of the water. It was a fun two games.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOM

Alright, now it's time to make a run at the World Series.

At the trade deadline there was a lot of chatter about the Dodgers being the best team in the NL, the Reds are going to blow it, blah blah blah. What now?!

It will be interesting to see how Dusty's health impacts the playoff run. Does more fall on Speier to handle? If they flounder again in the playoffs will Dusty get another chance? Will Speier take over or will they go outside for a replacement? If they make it deep and Dusty gets better I am sure they will resign him for a couple.

What do y'all think?

Braves fans need to hope they win their one play-in game before talking big.

Not trying to start anything, but I wish the Braves did play in the worst division in all of sports.

SN: I hope the Reds bring their bats the first game of the playoffs this year, that no hitter a few years back was embarrassing.

It's funny because they would actually still have a chance at the East division had we not swept them in a 4 game series this year. Yeah, please act like the Reds didn't take care of business against pretty much everyone this year.

The Braves and Cardinals game is one in which I wish they could both lose, so we can get all the entitlement complexes out of the ****ing playoffs early. Hell, at least the Cardinals somewhat earned it.

The Reds are a great team, there's no denying that. But the Braves team now is a lot different the the injury plagued one you beat in May

I wasn't coming to argue or troll man. He made a true statement about the Braves, and I did the same thing about Cincy.

Clinch the East? Record wise yes, but is that fair to say when the schedules are not the same? You guys go ahead a lock up that one seed, and it should be fun to watch in a little over a week from now. (If the Braves advance) Carry on.

Yeah, and this Reds team butt****ed the entire league without the best player in the National League for 40+ games. Some teams overcome injuries, other teams use them as excuses when they are still trailing the Nationals.

Well, I am going to make another true statement about the Braves. They managed to be 1 game over .500 against the worst division in all of sports.

Reds are trailing them while playing in the worst division in baseball. They busted the Reds ass as well.

Word.

I wouldn't be that confident if Bronson Arroyo was my game 2 starter... But thats just me.
