'13 GA CB Brendan Langley

UGA is supposedly trying to make a push for him. They are selling him on that he can play 2 sports at UGA (football&basketball). He took a UOV to UGA for the Vandy game. He still says he may visit UT for the Bama game.

after the seeing him in a few games i guess our coaching staff is making a play for him again.. argh.. anyways he has been to uga 2x this season already and may be in athens again this weekend.

I think he has good size for a corner. He just lacks recovery speed, hip movement, and some technique issues. IMO he is a redshirt candidate.

yep agree with you. he is a good prospect, but will take some time to develop.. i was hoping we would offer riyahd jones and take his commitment at cb and be done with it.. but our coaches want langley now.

Richt won't come out and say it but I'm assuming Rambo and Ogletree are starting?

Funny Rambo just said one more game and then hes back...

Rambo might just be lying but according to his latest tweet he's not playing this week

https://twitter.com/brambo18

"This is the last game then Return of Rambo".

yeah i doubt ctg would want rambo to come out and say he is back.. we will know officially if he is suited up.. way too many teammates however have come out and said they were both back for this weekend game.

More I watch him the better I think he fits at Free Safety. He's much better when he's allowed to close on a ball with air under it. Wonder if he's physical enough to play safety though.

I agree he's a better safety prospect than corner although being physical enough of that position is a definite question with him.. I just dont see it as a cornerback with him in this league.

Dre Kirkpatrick got away with it.....(super bust)

Yeah he did but I still think Kirkpatrick had way more physical tools coming out of high school than Langley. I do think Kirkpatrick will be a huge bust in the NFL. I still can't believe the idiot Bengals drafted him in the 1st Round.

You almost feel sorry for whomever they draft every year.

Dre Kirkpatrick did have better physical tools coming out. He was faster, alot better hip movement and good back pedal. Kirkpatrick biggest issue was ball skills. Scouts saw the fact that he didnt give up much last year plus his upsides lead to him getting drafted in the 1st round. I agree that his best position is probably safety. He has very good range and has no problem with laying a lick on someone.

Brendan Langley is scheduled to visit this weekend officially, but I think it's mostly a Georgia-South Carolina battle for him.
-Paul Fortenberry (VolQuest).

"The atmosphere was crazy," Langley said of his visit to Tennessee on Saturday. "102,000 fans. That's always something to look forward to. Overall, it was another good experience for me."
The Kell High School (GA) standout made his verbal commitment to South Carolina just days before the start of his senior season and has been solid with the Gamecocks since.
"I would say it's still 100-percent," Langley said of his commitment. "But after tonight's game, seeing Tennessee's secondary and things they may need help on...I could have an opportunity to play early. It definitely gives me something to sleep on."
A stud on the football field, Langley also excels on the basketball court - and admits an offer to play may sway his decision.
"That was one thing I didn't get a chance to do today...talk to the basketball coach," Langley said of his visit.
"Once I do that, it'll probably be safe to say that Tennessee's back in it."
Although his commitment to the Gamecocks has been made for months, Langley says that his relationship with the Vols' coaching staff has remained intact.
Overall, how would Langley describe his time at Rocky Top?
"It was fantastic."
