If I was in his shoes, this is the way I would look at it and I hope he does too. Go to Bama and just be another 5 star and just another number of come to UT and be a folk lore before you step on campus. He could become a stud here and we would let him play RB. UT has struggled lately in the NFL draft but we still take more snaps on Sunday than Bama. With that being said, I am afraid he goes to Bama, but I hope I am wrong. His 500 yards in one game may be more than we get all october.
Come to UT where they throw in the redzone and have a pass happy OC. Or go to a Bama team that pounds people to death with the run. Your answer would be what without the Orange Shades on????

I highly doubt he is looking at things that way. That isn't to say some recruits dont, but very few of the elite guys do or the same schools wouldn't be signing the best recruiting classes year after year after year. They want to play for winners plain and simple and arent afraid of competition.
Until Dooley wins some big games, especially against the big 4 it's going to be very difficult for him to land these types of guys and to be able to make a real move towards the top of the league.
It's not a competition thing. No one should be afraid of competition. A rational person should see that 3 or more years of being the feature back is better than playing a backup roll or third down back for 2 or 3 years and getting one year as the feature back. The key is these kids are 18 and are as far from rational as John L Smith.
I also got excited about Bryce Brown & we all know how that worked out.

Yes we do but talent wasn't the issue at all with that guy. He would have been a great RB at Tennessee had he stuck it out and not had outside influences messing with him. Bottom line is you need talent like that to win big in this league.
