MNF: Green Bay vs. Seattle

Like the old saying goes...it is what it is. The packers offense played like crap during the first half of play. The Seahawks played all 4 quarters. I love the nfl just as much as I do college, but this is a joke. I expected the replacements to be bad, but not this bad.

what's crazy too is how many of the players were making contact with the refs at the end of the play. One of them flipped one's hat off!

The most bizarre part was Pete Carroll being in the Endzone next to the scrum as it happened.

I have a feeling I'll be telling my kids about this in twenty years.

You have to control the ball to the ground - only Jennings did that - it was not simultaneous. It is no catch or possession until the player is down or hits the ground and makes a "football" move.

They just read the definition of simultaneous possession on ESPN. It definitely didn't meet the definition.

Reporter: "I know you are walking a line, but about the officials..."

McCarthy, steaming: "I'm not walking that line! I'm not talking about the officials."

If I were McCarthy the NFL would probably fine me my entire season's salary after my comments to the press.

I would have something along the lines of "Nice to see our commish has no integrity, since you know, the game has no integrity."

This is hilarious. All he had to do was knock it down. No controversy haha. Got greedy, gave Seattle a chance. Hahaha.

You cant possibly be this stupid.........the issue isnt whether it was knocked down or if they should have knocked it down. It was a clear INT and the call was horrible.....a definite controversy and a definite terrible call....not even close

Jerry Meals says thank you for making a worse call

Great. He should have knocked it down.

Doesn't change the fact that an awful call happened to change the outcome of the game.

Steve Young: "(The NFL) is being brought down to the level of other sports."

Interesting.
