Truth be told, they prob needed a battle tonight instead of a 50-10 blowout. At least that's what I'm going to tell myself.

Mornin y'all! Last nights game was tough to watch. I'm not sure if last night was a good thing or a bad thing. Reason I say good is because they had to fight through most of the game to win or pull away. Bad because it looked like the coaches didn't really have the team fired up and ready to come out and play. The team should have wanted to play well and blow Akron out of the water and take some frustrations out.

Anyways y'all have a good Sunday!

Well, I can tell you that it was obvious how the fans felt. From the Vol walk to the game, even with fewer fans, there just wasn't a lot of ~ no even sure what to call it. They got loud when they needed to in the game, but that was about it.

G'mornin folks.

I agree smokey. I think having to fight was good for the players.

I was frustrated just like most fans were about the game last night. I was hoping for a strong showing against Akron, but last night was typical Tennessee football. Whether Dooley is head coach or not UT had typically played down to their competions level instead of blowing them away like they should. I was glad to see this particular team not completely give up. Come back and put some points on the board and make the game look better than it actually was.

I figured this weeks crowd would be pretty blah. With the loss last week, the frustration from the fans and playing Akron really was the perfect storm for a weak crowd.
