Cannot stress enough the importance it is to get a guy like this, but also to get another big RB as well. Competition is what separates our team IMO.
The teams that can run the ball between the tackles are teams that have depth at RB. Not just depth for the sake of depth, but real depth, that push each other during practice. Look at Bama, LSU, UGA, etc. Those teams have strong, physical guys that push each other in practice. Then, in the game, they wear down the defenses. They consistently pick up 4-5 yards, occasionally breaking them for longer.
Jay Graham knows what he's doing and will get the best out of our backs, but you have to have more depth than guys like Devrin Young. I love DY, but he's not the kind of guy you want in the depth chart pushing guys to be an every-down back.
