Notre Dame will always be independent in Football. Its really all they have left and a NBC Contract. I do hope they beat Michigan State because ND sucks and will lose a lot more this year.

Looks like they remain independent but have to play 5 ACC teams per season. Pretty much are an ACC team, they just get to keep the independent label.
