Patterson, a Kentucky-based urologist, maintains he found cancer in the mans penis during surgery and that it had to be removed. The patient claims the surgery was supposed to be a circumcision and he never authorized the amputation, nor was he given a chance to seek a second opinion.
George noted that Seaton signed the two consent forms in the days before the surgery, but said his client was basically illiterate and didnt intend to give Paterson consent to amputate, only conduct a circumcision. Stumbo appeared to agree.
I think someone asked this already, but how does someone find penis cancer while doing a circumcision? The article indicates they found it inside the penis, last I checked, you don't go inside to do a circumcision.
When did you last check?
I only ask, because I've never checked on the proper circumcision procedure.
14 years ago. I have 3 sons, none are cut, but I had the doctor go over the procedure for the oldest before deciding. It takes about 1 minute for a baby because they don't use any anesthesia, but I suppose they would numb an adult. They even have a special circular scalpel designed for the procedure. Pull, slice, salve, done.
