When I was in School at UT (1996-2001) students camped out at the UC to make sure we got tickets to the UF game. Tickets were gone within the first day.

Supply of tickets is tailored to match demand. Lazy no-show students the last several years does not exactly pressure the AD to set aside more student seats.

When I attended UT, We complained about cutting seats at TBA. Turned out we were being brats. We filled up the allotment like 3 or 5 games a year. It was our fault all along.

I'm a student and will absolutely lose my mind if I don't get a ticket tomorrow. I am inconsolable

Just got an E-mail from the ticket office saying that over 13,000 students have requested tickets for the game. That is over capacity for the student section and is more than any home game last year. So we are doing our part.:good!:

When will you find out for sure if you are able to claim a guest ticket? I reserved one for a buddy of mine about an hour after they went up, so I'm hoping I get priority

Far as I understand it none will be given out during the claim periods. You have to do it during the on demand phase. I requested one too so I'm in the same boat.

Join the band....they always have a seat. :) I loved not having to worry about a ticket the four years I was there! Go Vols!!!

This is the first time I've had to request a ticket. How is it that you do it during the demand phase? Do you have to go back and try to reserve the ticket again?

Thats for Damn sure! My daughter graduated last winter and we shelled out about $30k out of pocket for 4 years! :furious3:

they should have sold student season ticket passes before the season. maybe all the games would have been a sell out for the student section

Per our established process for games in which our demand exceeds the number of tickets available, guest tickets WILL NOT be assigned to your account tomorrow.

We did not encounter this level of demand for any home games last year. As a result, many students may not be aware of this part of the ticket process.

The process places priority on allowing as many students as possible to be in attendance at our biggest games. If you requested to sit as a group with other students, you will still be assiged to sit with that group of students.

Get excited for a full student section in one week!
