'15 JUCO RB Alvin Kamara (UT commit 6/21/14)

I third that notion..Green seems like the consensus best back we are in with and then I would take Kamara and lastly Henry, just seems kinda like a headcase with a potential attitude problem

I disagree, this guy is no Gabe Wright or Mike Bellemy. I think he enjoys the scene, but can you blame him, how did you handle that situation when you were in it?

While I like to think I am athletic, alas I am white and 5'8 and going to UT on academic scholarship not athletic....but Henry just seems to handle it slightly less maturely than a lot of other guys I've kept tabs on

How so? Seems like a confident hard working kid to me. Please explain how it "seems" he is handling it slightly less maturely.

I may be wrong, but according to OCI, we may be only taking 1 RB this cycle...that has been the coaches pitch to the RB recruits, according to him. I hope that has possibly changed to 2 RBs, if Bourque doesn't return.

I believe without a doubt that if we can get two of the top tier RBs in this class we will take both of them. Assuming we do well on the field this year, I fully expect that we will do exactly that and will sign two top tier RB's in this class.

Oh, you tease....

For me.... I'd much rather deal with people who truly truly want to be VOLS. I took this process very seriously and so did my son while he was going through it. He didn't lead people on, jump ship 10x from school to school.... only one school thought they were going to get him; and the other KNEW they were going to get him. Never waivered from that and didn't waste time taking 22 visits to 26 school because they offered him.

Take the kid(s) that are serious about their future. Thats all I ask.

Not teasing.... I really just don't care right now. They're all good prospects, but make sure the one that accepts is true to his word. PERIOD!!

...and Amen for that! Commits like your son, Drae Bowles, Danny O'Brien, Austin Sanders, etc. are invaluable to the coaches too, IMO, allowing them to concentrate resources and not having to baby sit. Also, says something about a person when their word means something.

Also, MZTerry, going back to a conversation I saw some posters and yourself in at one time: Been working in Cleveland for a couple months here (training for new job) and there are some of the smallest folks I've ever seen!

:)

Completely agree. You want a player that wants to be there 100% and there for the program and not just about them. That is why I never get upset about some players going eleswhere or a player that flips because in the end you want the ones that want to be a a part of the program and leave a legacy at that school.
