It appears a lot of production houses are moving away from the yearly cycle and producing content whenever they like. With the advent of the DVR and digital content on-demand, no longer does the consumer have to schedule around a broadcast cycle -- something NBC still obviously does not understand with their 1984 coverage of the 2012 olympic games.

That scene with Karl is the only one where Blake had a mustache in the whole episode. Guessing that one was shot first, then he decided to shave.

Comedy central does split seasons for all 3 of the shows I watch (South Park, and sometimes Tosh.0).
