Since the season is just around the corner, I would like to make the Official VN "Eat Crow" Thread

This is for all the Negative Nancies, Debbie Downers, and other people who talk crap about those of us who support the coach and the team. The ones that use words like Doolander, Doolaider, Doolite, Dools, Doolops, Doobers, Doolickers, Doolholes, Doolkins, and whatever other word they can come up with

This is your thread. This is for you to talk all the negative crap you want about the coach and the team.

This is where we will come back to when the season is over so we can feed you all the Southern Fried Crow plates you can eat

You can have Crow and Waffles if ou want. All you can eat. Served with a nice side of kiss my ass.


Maybe the mods will even sticky it, so we can enjoy it throughout the season, so you cant come back and rejoice with the rest of us, proclaiming you knew all the time but you were just tempering your emotions so that you wouldnt be disappointed at the end of the season.

I will go against your wishes because this isn't my thread.
I really see a 1 or 2 losses this year if we stay healthy.
Most excited for this season and ready to get back to prominence!
We will soon be finding out. Can't wait.

I've stated many times since we saw the 2012 schedule that there's 8 wins built in to the schedule. If we win more than 8 I'll be very happy. Beating 8 teams that we have NO reason losing to will not impress me.

Negative people will never come here and admit they were wrong about anything.

It's very few that will come back and admit they were wrong and eat their well prepared crow dinners.

They should also remember that all crow dinners are served up with large pitchers of Dool-ade to wash down the nasty tasting crow.

Also all crow eaters will be sent home with a non-autographed picture of CDD in his bright Tennessee Orange pants.

Crow dinners will start being served 10 minutes after the big WIN of game 1 in HOTlanta.

Congrats on your 64th thread that has had a similar message, and yet has in no way been beaten into the ground by you through a clever use of caps and pithy expressions. And, oh before I forget, a future congrats on this being the 64th thread that failed to get off the ground in the way you imagined.

And for you and the other delusional fans on this site. Questioning the coach is NOT bad mouthing the team. It's questioning a guy with a losing record, a guy who lost to KY for the 1st time in almost 3 decades and to top it off it was one of the WORST KY teams in those 3 decades. It's questioning a coach whose paid millions yet his team quit on him when a bowl bid was on the line. I know y'all don't have the mental capacity to understand this concept but it is what it is.

This ought to be good. For the record I say, and have said, Go VOLS and Go Dooley and Co! I have had a handful of Dooley hating moments but they happened during some bad situations and quickly passed. I'm ready for some effin football!

I had no idea we lost to Kentucky last year. Thanks for reminding me

We lost Memphis in 1996, if you forgot already

Only way I'd be eating crow is if he won 10+ this season or was here after the 2013 season. It will be far worse than I expected if he can't win 8 or 9 with this years squad.. even Mike Shula was able to do that in his 3rd year with less talent.

Btw, we lost to Kentucky with them a WR playing QB last season.

I love how every time someone like this tries to get their point across, they feel the need to attack the poster's on the site that don't feel the same way.

Like somehow questioning the mental capacity of the other posters in the thread strengthens their argument, when in reality it does the exact opposite.

96 and 2011 are very comparable seasons if you take out the fact that we almost won as many games in 96 as DD has won in 2 years at UT. So keep trying to make excuses and keep looking dumb. But the reality is questioning a coach is not even cloe to the same thing as bad mouthing the team. All of us hope UT wins every game from now until the end of time. Some of you are confused. Y'all think the coach is the program and some act as if he's bigger than the program.

Well if you don't have the mental capacity to understand the difference in fans questioning the head coach and still supporting the team then I will point it out.
