If you are going to say something at least know what it means. "Jumping the shark" is a single moment, not something that happens over the course of a season.

It can mean a single moment or moment in the evolution of the series. Throwing so much into the beginning of the season in an attempt to immediately build the excitement from the previous season (with three years of buildup) was that moment of evolution that jumped the shark for me. Know your facts before you start telling me to know mine genius.

it's one and the same. It made the show beyond watchable and thus it jumped the shark.

for me, as I stated, it was. It was just way too much and became way too over the top. I will not be returning to watch it.

I get what bill is saying. ...suspension of disbelief in writing is a big thing.

Even Sutter has recognized that the events on the show stretch the hell out of reality. People have different breaking points for that. Many felt that Romeo turning out to be DEA was a nice run at the shark jumping ramp.

I mean when you think about it a slightly above average MC has taken on and beaten the DEA twice, white supremacists, elements of the IRA and the russian mob.

I'm such a fan of the show and the characters whereas I'm willing to let more slide.
