I have read through some of their boards...not posted anything but they are fairly confident that 1) They will shut down our passing attack with their unbelievable secondary, 2) The UT wr are certainly not the best they will see all year so they aren't worried, 3) Their D will get to Bray often and can easily own the line of scrimmage, and 4) Their offense will put up many points on our D....21-28 points would be heading toward disappointment for them.

Darrelle Revis would have a hard time starting in State's secondary this season. It is possibly the greatest secondary in the history of college football. I just hope Bray can complete a forward pass.

The way they talk that is how good their secondary is. Even when people have given them their great CB and said lets say he completely shuts down Hunter they just ignore the fact that Rivera, Rogers, and Patterson are still out there. They claim they have such experienced safeties and senior db's it won't be a problem.

Lmao@ not the best WR's they will see all year! They don't play usc (I think ours are better than theirs anyhow), and If they think Clemson's as a whole are better, I'm going to horse laugh.

Clemson and FSU were mentioned as two teams with better WR than UT's according to them.

Let's just put Peterman in as starter and let him run the option. If we don't, we have no chance of moving the football. Not with Amerson's 13 picks and 3.9 40 speed roaming around.

It really is. It's comical actually. Their thirst for success in any sport other than bass fishing (their most recent championship)makes their fans more delusional than most. More than ours right now and that's saying somehting. I mean we haven't won a National Title or SEC Title since 1998, but they haven't won an ACC Football title since 1979. Duke, UNC and Wake Forest have all won the ACC in football since then.

That's why I didn't bother trying to talk with them. Essentially to them that dude is Deon and they refuse to take into account that we have a good passing attack. I love the ones that say a team doesn't improve that much year to year. Or even better one of their posters said that our passing attack ranked 61st last year and they had played much better competition. When a UT fan pointed out that we lost Justin at Florida and Tyler in UGA game they literally responded with... "I watched as you guys couldn't even score on LSU when you had chance after chance and we ranked second only to them in our secondary."

So they think they are as good as LSU in the secondary. Forget the fact that we had Matt Sims back there taking snaps and no Justin Hunter.

They honestly think that we will be intimidated once the game gets going or something. I don't have the heart to tell them that when you play the likes of Ga, Ala, LSU, Ark, South Carolina, and Florida all in one year..... NC State doesn't scare you

we have 3 WR's that average 6'-4, 225 and all run 4.4 or less (CP timed in at sub 4.3) when all 3 are in formation, who covers our running back (Neal) at 4.3 speed coming out of the backfield???? :crazy:

Their biggest issue is that they perceive the ACC as being just below the SEC in FB rankings. I have tried to be nice over there and when their couple of DBag posters get nasty, I either don't respond or just post facts to disprove what they say. I have basically quit going to their site, it is much like listening to Vanderbilt talk about being relative again (as if they ever were).

It's amazing to me that they think of themselves as LSU on defense. They also think we will be afraid of them or something. Ludicrous

They do have a stud on D in Amerson, but their other DB are no more than mid-level SEC DB's. I haven't said that over there and won't but like I said, it's like reading Vandy explaining how they are relevant. Their own posters will tell you in one sentence how we are the bottom of the SEC (with Candy and KY Jelly) and then the next sentence they will say how good this game is going to be, how close it will be, and how they are on the rise in the ACC and expected to play in the ACCCG. I guess that means that their best teams are the equivalent of the lower 3rd of the SEC.....I don't know.
