We have a running back (Alden Hill) who has the same measurables and runs a 4.6 fourty yd dash like Turman.

Beside the stars, Does Turman have a different skill set, ie elite vision, elusiveness, etc., that we don't already have on the roster. Speed in the sec rules. If FSU truly doesn't want him then something is going on.

I really hope we get Turman. I like the way he runs so physically and with some anger. That's something this team really needs at RB. I would be extatic if we landed him.

So not true. Ingram won the Heisman and he wasnt a speed guy. Speed is nice but you need a RB that can follow his blocks and run your ass over. Not ones like we have had lately that go down on first contact and tacked by the Neyland turf. Give me a Trent Richardson type all day. He has good speed but never goes town on the first hit and is a beast.

IIRC, HG said that FSU might be loading up for next class.

Yep and Lattimore is the best RB in the SEC and he isn't a speedster either.

Speed is great to have but i would take a physical, hold onto the ball, run your ass over RB anyday. Now if he has all those qualities and speed then thats the perfect RB scenario.

How many RBs are we trying to sign? I like Turman buy we are also recruiting Henry, Dye, Wilkins, Folston and Green.

Turman has deceptive speed. And good top end speed for a power back. Look at his stride. I like this kid a lot at RB.
