I will...they need to ask Cincinnati what a real arse whoopin feels like. Cause it's coming...and it's going to be on national TV.

Cincy's the last team that played us when all 3 guys were healthy (Bray, Hunter & Rodgers).

I loved that the one poster said we better hope CP is good because we're putting all our stock into him.

When in reality we're just hoping he's half as good as the other 2 they need to worry about.

Our best strength is our passinng game.

Their best strength is their ballhawking DB's that get lots of INT's.

They'll have no fear of trying to jump routes to try and start their season with several picks off of Bray.

Bray is going to have to be on top of his game and careful with the ball or he could throw several INT's and lose us the game.

I think Bray will be held back some and won't throw many long balls unless our WR's are wide open with no chance their DB's can catch up.

Ball control, short passes that keep moving the chains and keeping their O off the field is what I think our gameplan will be.

We'll take our shots downfield but our WR's better be ready to fight for the ball because their DB's will be after us from the 1st snap of the game.

I expect to Win but our Vols can't take this game lightly.

I actually expect a bigger Win for us against floriDUHHH this season than against the Wolfpack.

If their DB's re jumping routes trying to get INT's.. all that is going to do is give our receivers open field behind them to Run it in for the TD.

I hope they are dumb enough to do this against us, as it will just lead to an embarrassing loss for them.

Not understanding why so many folks are offended by opposing fans that have confidence. This isn't 15 years ago. Sure-things don't exist for this team anymore.
State does match up well with Tennessee. Deal with it. We have a high-ceiling, but with a new defense, and no running game, we can hardly look down on anyone.
The Vols SHOULD win the game, but a loss wouldn't be nearly as unexpected as the last game this team played.

if this team can figure out how to play in the dome, or anywhere besides Neyland, we'll be fine. That IF should be bigger though.

I'm sure Chaney is drawing up plays which will exploit their inexperience at lb. I'd pass it about ten plays in the flats and 5 yards over the middle to dy , lane, or Neal. We'll break a couple. Rivera will prob be wide open all night. The safeties will then have to pay attention on helping wheel routes, etc. then dr jh or cp will be wide open behind one on one coverage. Just patient testing of their lbs will win the game if our d can slow down glennon, who is a damn good qb, but like bray, not so great with a 300 pounder in his face.

The same thing would happen here if one of their fans posted the putdowns some of our fans went over to their site and posted there. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Sure I expect us to have our hands full the until maybe half time then blow them off the field--but why go over there and gloat? We have a perfect good site right here on VN to gloat to our hearts' content.

It's Ok for a frog to praise its own pond but no need to belittle the other frog's pond while visiting his home.

I'm kind of thinking this will be happening a good bit. I'm thinking they will put so much focus on stopping our WR's that I bet we'll be lighting up Rivera all night long. Which I'm very ok with.

You rarely see Rivera drop a lot of ball. Imo he has the best hands on the reciving core. I love to see him get the ball more often this year.
