There ya go fella...
Fella.. there are a multitude of crimes on the books. getting a US Attorneys office to pick the case up is very rare. I will bet you any amount or anything that this case is not adopted by the Feds and prosecuted.

You could very well be right. I feel like if that were the case that he would have used a different choice of words, but who knows.

Who says he was talking about for him? Could have been talking about one of the back ups at Georgia getting new found playtime.

Did I stutter when I readily admitted that I could be wrong about it? But on that note, I guess we all know how often 17 year old star athletes concern themselves with someone else's playing time. I said I could be wrong, but my personal opinion based on what he said is that he's looking at this as an opportunity for himself.

Dude, look at my original remark. I said that the only reason the serial number was a bigger deal than the school zone felony was because it brought "federal charges into play". I never said they would prosecute it. But given the current mood in the country about illegal gun possession, I wouldn't be shocked if the Feds looked into it.

You are making an assumption from a tweet. That didn't say anything except for a general statement. It's been said many times that Kamara is holding his recruiting info close to the chest. I wouldn't read too much into that tweet. That is my personal opinion :)

You got me there man. Good one. I'm not sure what words I need to use to say that its just my opinion based on the timing and the circumstances. Actually, you're the one kind of being a blowhard about it. I at least admitted that I could be wrong. But hey, I'm sure there's no chance that you could be.

FWD: @SDS: Hmm RT @FletcherPage Four #UGA players were in the car w/ Crowell: Josh Harvey-Clemons, Blake Tibbs, Quintavious Harrow & Sheldon Dawson.

Where all the the UGA fans that told me picking up Cootie was good for the team.:post-4-1090547912:

So you think UGA has no depth/talent up front? If both are healthy and Lane has more yards we'll be in the BCS Championship game. Our offense will be killing people with a difference maker at RB. But we'll see I still think Crowell will prove he's an elite back this year.

Atlanta here we come!

And, dude, I never said it wasnt illegal. I said the Feds didnt care.

Yep sorry about that. But I have been blasted on here by UGA fans like insider for talking about how even thogh I wanted Crowell as a recruit was glad we did not take him because he seems to have a lot of off the field issues. They always come back and defend IC and tell me how it is because he picked UGA. Again glad he choose them and they also tried to justify the package deal pick of Cootie. I am glad that worked out for them.

I'm not the one stressing.

And I did say it was my personal opinion...

I agree about Clemson. that is the first time I have seen them mentioned as a threat to anyone for him, but Dabo got RN and now Adams is visiting. Have no clue what is going on there.

First of all, I don't stop by here very often. This is a heck of a message board though for recruiting, so I do try and stop in every once in a while when there is a recruit that we are both after. Always good to get perspective from the other side.

Maybe I can help every once in a while from a Clemson perspective, so everytime we get a commit it "doesn't come out of nowhere," and there are 10 "$$$" replies.

As of now, our insiders have this as a Bama/Clemson battle. As you probably know (haven't read through the 125+ pages on this thread), he does keep his recruiting pretty tight-lipped, so who really knows. I think Tenn is in a pretty good position myself, and don't think UGA is in as good a shape as they might think. All indications are that only really his mom prefers UGA, but who knows what the Crowell situation does to this. That will be interesting to see.

He is currently on campus and will be here until Sunday. Dabo, and most of the other coaches, are on vacation, so it's actually pretty bad timing.

For Adams (since he is mentioned above), Clemson has been in the lead for sometime now. This shouldn't come to a surprise to anyone, as I think it is pretty widely known. Certainly not a lock by any stretch of the imagination, but I don't think Clemson would change positions with anybody else in the running for him. He's been on campus, I think since Wed. Again, bad timing, but this isn't the first time he's been to Clemson, and probably won't be the last.

Nice to hear from a Clemson fan on Kamara. In regards to Adams I have seen far more positives for AU than Clemson lately for his services.

Exactly what charges did Cootie get?

Only UGA fans believe that Cootie's offer had nothing to do with IC. But most seem to think different. Meaning that Cootie who happened to be IC's best friend since they were little got a scholarship to solidy IC to UGA.

So my comment means it does not appear now that wasting a scholarship on a player that had no other DI offers was worth it now since IC got arrested.

Cootie only had 1 DI offer and that was UGA. Sorry try again.

sarcasm

A tongue of which the user speaks of something the complete opposite of what the user means. It often has the best comedic value.

Ex. 1: "I'm okay. Don't mind the gaping wound and the sword protruding from my back. I'm fine. Feel like a million ****ing bucks, dammit."

Ex. 2:
"Is your car stuck in the mud?"
"No, no, of course not. I'm only practicing how to spray mud using my tires.

That tends to happen in situations like this. Clemson has been in the lead for probably over a year now for him. If I'm not mistaken, we were the first to offer, and have pretty much been right there at the top ever since. Not sure if this is still the case, and I definitely think there are viable threats out there (AU being probably the biggest, as you mentioned). With all of that said, I don't think the Clemson staff would trade places with anyone else for him. They certainly may be gaining ground, but don't think anyone has yet passed Clemson.

I know I was just giving you a hard time. No biggie

BTW love the examples. Maybe you should create a sticky on this board for other posters can better explain their thoughts. Some of them make sense sometimes.

Maybe this kid is all world but 5'10" 190 and only runs just under 4.6?! Maybe his stats haven't been changed since he was 14 or something but his measurables are not very impressive. What's he got that Bama, Clemson, & the Vols see that I'm missin'.
