UGA fans think he'll commit to them at Dawg Night.
Ok, I'm about to predict the future here.. Kamara will commit to play somewhere other than bama, and then the bama fans will all say the coaches only wanted him to play wr, and he didn't like the idea... And that's the only reason he's not an elephant..
One of our insiders has been saying the reason Henry has not commited pubicly is because the staff still wanted Kamara and needed to see if they could get both. If will play WR and have no issues with Henry coming onboard that would make sense.
But remember neither have commited to any school and what I posted was not directly from Kamara.

And this says it all. AK is keeping everything very close to the vest. No one knows much of anything right now. You guys are seriously joking with yourselves, if you think that you are so high and mighty that you can come in and take 4 of the top RBs on the board...then convince 1 of them to play TE and the other to play WR. DELUSIONAL!! You guys won't land all 4 of those guys. Henry probably hasn't pulled the trigger, because he is very hesitant to the idea of playing TE, although your coaches have almost sold him on it.
If that was true why did Henry come to UA camp play HB/TE his whole time, go home and a few days later decommit from UGA, and after that was posting on his twitter about running routes and catching balls on his twitter. No different than Bo Scarbrough next year. He has said in some articles he will only talk to schools that are recruiting him as RB, but now in every article says he sees himself as a WR at UA. He also on Sat in the drills at the 5 star challenge only participated as a WR, but he is listed as a RB and early top 10 player for 2014.
Sometimes no matter what these kids think they should play, the coaches actually have a better idea. And why does it matter. If Saban recruits a kid to play one position and the kid does not want, oh well they can go elsewhere. But Saban is telling these kids up front this so if they decide to do it that is their choice. He is not telling them hey we want you as a RB. Interviews with both Henry and Kamara show they both know what Saban is recruiting them at.
UA does not need 4 RBs in this class, and because some fans are delusional and think Saban would take 4 RBs tro keep other teams from getting them is also foolish. We are tight on our spots and are recruiting specifically per position and needs.
And in the end we may get niether, both, or one.
I'm holding out hope for Kamara, I hope Croom and Bradley are enough to keep us in the mix until we start winning games this season and seal the deal. His recruitment is so quiet I really don't believe anything "insiders" have to say.
Tide Warrior,
You are on here trying to counter anything hoping Kamara will read it. You know deep down bama wants to stack and not let anyone else play. Kids tranfer out of UA often and Saban says they were dismissed to cover for UA's reputation. It is not going to work on this board bud. Sorry.
Can I have some of what you are smoking. I could care less what Kamara is reading and have no clue if he is reading this board. I post what is being reported. Take that issue with the sites.
Every school including UT wants to get the best players in their program. Why else do they recruit so hard and spend so much on recruiting. It is not rocket science. My comment about taking players is some AU fans think we take players to keep them from going to other places, as some other fan bases, which is just foolish. Yes if you have unlimited scholarships that would make since but each team only has 85.
In regards to players transferring you might want to research better before posting. UA has more players tranferring just to get more playing time than being dismissed. Again no issue Saban only putting the best players on the field and helping the dead weight look for a better option. It benefits both. And regarding those sorry Saban does not keep kids with off the field issues on the team as much as other programs.
Any fan would be a fool to say their team did not want Kamara. And yes UA wants him and he has been a top target as well. Remember back in May when he was interviewed after UA already had 2 RBs he said he had no issue with going to UA and being a 3rd RB in the class.
The concerns that has been posted on our sides for Kamara is letting him know that he will get to touch the ball. Showing him with 2 already commited RBs and the possible addition of Henry, he will get his touches.
Most UA fans also feel that he will commit to UGA by Dawgnight. Which means yes we will miss if he does. Just the nature of recruiting. He is the type of player you just get on the team and find a way to get him the ball.
