HBO's "Game of Thrones"

i'd surely rather do that and chill than lose a thousand men to wildfire and have stones thrown at me as I crawl up a pos ladder

And your head chopped off at the temple...epic

Can't believe nobody ever put a twist on decapitations like that. I was like, "Oh yeah, I guess you don't have to go for the neck."

When Tyrion got struck down I thought it was someone from the Kingsguard, but I wasn't sure. Read an episode recap today and it turns out it was. Why would a knight of the Kingsguard attack Tyrion? Hopefully we'll find out next episode.

Was wondering the same thing.

I don't think he's dead either, it looks like he just got cut across the face. Please don't spoil it if you know :p

I was disappointed this episode to not get enough Ariya nor Jon Snow nor awaited karma catching up with Jamie (bahstid!).

I have read none of the books yet, but in one week have watched all episodes and now my eyes have screen overload.

I went and bought the first book 2 days ago. I'm 250 pages in and I can tell you it's 10 times better than the show.

Joffrey Baratheon is actually bigger than Snow and Robb in the book. But so far, I'm barely into the book, it's pretty damn accurate with the show.

And Bran Stark actually talks to the crow in his dreams. I think he has some kind of special powers, he can see all of the realm in his dreams.

I was thinking the same thing. Oh, and the Hound is a bad mother effer!

"F*** the realm. F*** the city. F*** the king" = Pro.

They left out the part with Sansa and the hound kissing, lol. I guess you can get away with some things in books that they wont put on TV.

Damn you!!!!!!!!! Lol, I'm not there yet in the books!

Meh - whoops - its not a TV spoiler so didn't figure it would matter since they decided not to go that route for the show.

I'm actually listening to them on audiobooks right now. Btw - don't bother to buy the GoT game that was just released if anyone was considering it - it's absolutely terrible.. Luckily I didn't spend money on it.

Everyone is older on the show as well.. I think Dany is like 13 in the book.. And I know bran is like 7 instead of 10.

Jon is supposed to be 14 and Rob.. Geoffrey is 17 so he may be casted slightly younger in the show.

Joffrey is actually younger 12 or 13 in the book he is just tall like his Dauncle

Thought about putting this in the politic forum. The last one makes it IMO.

Don't know how i missed this but awesome

I don't know. Neds death led to all of this. Little guys death would take away a key character in several current situations.

That's why I love this show. Not having read the books, I keep trying to guess what is going to happen. I'm hardly ever right lol.

alright i just started watching this show last week but now i am all caught up. First let me say this show is freaking awesome. the question i have is in some episodes i sometimes cant figure out whats going on. Is that normal or am i just an idiot? like i know all the major plots and everything but sometimes i feel like i have no idea what they are talking about. also is hound the guy whose face was burned off? another question i had was why did tyrion send the queen's daughter away? never understood that. oh and arya is a bad@ss. that is all.

No it's totally normal to not understand what they are talking about. A lot of stuff I had to go research, but you have to be careful doing that because you don't want to accidentally read major spoilers.

For instance we know that Ned Stark and King Robert are dead, so you can google them and go and read their entire back story. It's quite fascinating and will explain a lot. The rise of King Robert could have been a book in itself.
