The Zone Edition: Face with screen name thread.

He's the kindest, most smiley kid around, but just wants to win everything. Never talks back to anyone. I doubt he would even punch a kid in the face in a fight. But when the Professor's say "GO!", he flips a little switch that makes me laugh and cry.
And talked to my mom last night and she has promised to be at his matches in the upgoming NAGA tourney in Memphis. He said, "good. Now granny and papa can watch me". Papa has been watching him from Heaven, and he told me that's a reason why he tries so hard.

Aww, that's so sweet. I'm glad your mom is going to be around for him. My grandmother was one of the most influential people in my life so I know it would mean a lot to Jake to have your mom there. Sounds like he is motivated, disciplined, and kind. Plus, family means a lot to him. Good little boy you got there.

Kinda makes me feel shatty for being such a hell kid. Sorry Dad!

I got one of those also, and love him just as well. He can just be a jackwagon more often, but keeps me sharp.

I remember so many years ago the day my Mother shook my core. She asked if I was a good boy and said yes Mom of course. She said "well I heard you were so mean you would fight a chain saw". I kinda chuckled and said "only if the chain saw starts it". But that moment really shook me to the bone. I didn't realize until then, my actions and behavior could affect so many. Thank you Mom and I am a good boy now.
