Knoxville repair shops?

I got into a minor accident and need to have some body work done on my mustang. Any recommendations on what shops to go with? Who to avoid? I'm open to any and all suggestions because the web is pretty sparse with good reviews from what I've found.

Can't go wrong with Joe Neubert. They've got 3 locations, I believe.

I had my hail damaged car repaired there after the April storms last year. It looked brand new, and the quality was excellent. They did it right, removed all trim, windshield, etc. No overspray anywhere.

Hardin Valley Body Shop. No one does better work.
I've used Neubert in the past and was pleased, but HVBS is hands down the best.

Neubert impressed me by giving me a full detail after the job was completed. And not in house, either. They sent it to a professional detailer who completely detailed the car inside and out. I'd estimate it at a $200 job.

He's in Clinton, but Gary's Body Shop does excellent work for a great price. They won't BS you either.

I once tried Dalton Body Shop because it was recommended by Rodgers Cadillac. HORRIBLE! Don't go there.

Out of curiosity, what kind of work have you had done there? Mine should be pretty basic. Just needs a fender, headlight, bumper cover and a few other small things replaced and some basic metal work to get it all straightened out.

Neubert seems to have a pretty good reputation and everyone's comments don't seem to detract from that.

One of my biggest concerns is that as part of the repairs I'm looking to upgrade some of the damaged parts while they're being replaced. I want someone who will work with me and my insurance to make that happens as smoothly and professionally as possible.

If you're in the Oak Ridge area avoid Quality Body Shop. They're terrible.

They once replaced the wrong axle on my truck after an accident.

I had a hood, fender, grill, headlights, and wheel replaced on a Tacoma.

A 76 Bronco painted.

A Jetta bumper replaced, not my car, I backed up into it.

Paint is my pet peave. They do it better than most. On the Tacoma, one headlight was fine but they replaced it anyway so that it would match instead of just pocketing the extra ins money as profit.

Neubert is good too. I had no complaints.

Courtesy body works behind Louis near Broadway and I-640 has done good work for me in the past. Their place is not fancy but the work is good.

Sounds good. I did a little research and didn't see a single bad review yet. It helps that they're in a convenient location for me. Looks like they'll be my choice.
