That was also before Texas offered. Since you are probably too stupid to remember back to February I will give you a little refresher. Santos was locked up and solidified his commitment upon Sunseri visiting him, but then Texas came in and offered him which completely changed everything.

I don't know, I just honestly don't believe he would have visited us twice in Tennessee if he wasn't coming. He knows teams schematically better than they know themselves, the money will be at least comparable, and I believe the Titans draft/remaining free agency will be devoted heavily to defense.

Peyton is a business with managers advising. He will do what's best for Peyton. If he does go to the 9ners then that's whats best business wise. So much for being close to his family. Dang money and fame always rules.

I agree that he will do what's best for him, but you have to remember that Peyton turned down millions to stay at UT his senior year. He also denied an offer to make himself the highest paid player, just so the Colts could have more ammunition for his supporting teammates. Peyton is a competitor and that's what drives him.

I don't believe Peyton ever has been (or ever will be), purely driven by money. His actions thus far support that.

I just want him to get another ring. Wherever he feels he has the best shot, I'll support him.

yes you did got an update still up in the air, much speculation, no news yet. I am hearing tommorrow, but I would not place a bet on it.

Safe to say it will be either Tennessee, Denver, or San Fran.

Some experts state Tennessee, some San Fran and some Denver.

My guess is that is between Tennessee and San Fran

He has evidently spent more meeting time with TN over the others

He has sought Cut's Advice on what it can be assume that it was Advice

He wants a decent shot with a Super Bowl capable Team

He evidently has not physically visited the 49ers Facilities.

Alex Smith has the same Agent and thinks there is a Conflict of Interest because his Agent (Condon) is also Peyton's Agent.

Alex Smith visited with Miami Today so there is what some are calling a leap or assumptions.

That's about it. Not sure if he will make an announcement at his new teams facilities or not.

People are tracking him and his workout for the Titans was a well kept secret. So that no body would be able to track him. LOL or the Titans. The Drove to Webb School. Peyton from Ooltewah and the Titans staff from Nashville.

His wife wants to be in Tennessee.

Randy Shannon has tweeted quite a bit and Warren Sapp also.

He was in Bristol Today for the race. Another Thread. This is weeding through both threads and some other source of information add just to summarize the rest of it.

There is also the AFC vs NFC debate. Big brother and Little Brother for a possible NFC Championship game vs a meeting in the super bowl.

Also Alex Smith is in contract talks now with Miami.

I assume you were referring to Shannon Sharpe's tweets (not Randy Shannon) but that slip is certainly understandable given the past few months.

Could be, its just smoke coming from Cutcliffes side. Ive read espn and other articles, noway they know what Manning is doing right now. Only reason i posted what i heard from Cutcliffes side, thats someone Manning trust and spends a great deal of time with. Granted it didnt come from CDC himself, came from someone who speaks with him often.

Nathan peterman is the best one i done, 5 minutes after he got off the phone with the coaches. Got into a lil trouble over that 1. Its very hard getting concrete info from the coaches, Dooleys makes it that way. People have to be careful what they say nowadays, Dooley doesnt like leaks at all.

You do realize that Cut told the media he and Peyton "don't talk about those kinds of things?"

So, either he's lying (when he could have simply said "out of respect for Peyton, I'm going to withhold comments about that matter. It's his decision to declare, not mine."), or he hasn't discussed it. In that case, you're lying.

Not really. They drafted Colin Kaepernick last year. I was hoping the Titans would have drafted him (in the 2nd RD). He is very athletic. Him and Locker both had 4.5/40 times, but he is more of a pure runner than Locker, has better height and arm strength. Even put up numbers in College that would make Locker's look bad in comparison...including completion percentage.

The 49ers will be in better shape without Smith, either way. Much like I think the Titans will be better going with Locker instead of Hasselbeck.

If Peyton ask for advice on a subject, he will give it. This is the first time peyton has been thru this, so im sure they never discussed it til now.

Hell. I dont have a pilot near me. Only shell. I must not be a vol fan, and for not getting gas at pilot I have been pushed to the level of vandy fan.
