Peyton Manning to ____? (merged)

Goat, why don't you think he's going to the 9'ers?

They are an NFC team that plays his brother, which he has expressed that he doesn't want to do. Also, no way they have have anywhere near the cap space to sign him with what it's going to take to get him.

If so, too funny....the agent will have some work to do, as well may lose one client....so Smith would be on the losing end for sure.

Maybe. Or he is real smart and getting the most out of a deal, while making both parties happy. Peyton is going to break the bank. Period. If Alex gets signed, im sure he will be happy too. Win/win. Although one is for sure the clear winner

Hearing #Titans and Manning will be in Knoxville tomorrow morning for the workout. Thx to @brentdougherty for assisting with info.

IMO, this is a strong indication he is leaning toward Tennessee.

Ok, TITAN fans, here's a question....

If we get Peyton, and it almost completely depletes this years salary cap, do you still want him?

I say yes!!!!

We have already gone "all in" here and this has to happen IMO. We have brought in a few men, signed one (which is a total upgrade), but missed out on most of the big names which have signed elsewhere. This team drafts REALLY well, so we can for sure bolster our defense via the draft, or possibly even Freeny who is still available (yes I know the Colts might not want to trade him to the same division). Also Satele is still a viable option as a free agent center, which would be an upgrade over Amano. The pieces are here, we need Manning to take us from a pretender, to a contender.

Also, imagine the media hype. It would be unrivaled for a small market team. This team would be the talk of the entire offseason. Peyton is a win/win type scenario.

I say yes now, i mean theyve already missed on getting Mario Williams and missed on Wells/Myers. Dont know many other names that they may be going after tho.

They said the one position the would oversign for would be a premier pass rush specialist. That being said, I don't think the titans would step up to the plate, and match what Buffalo gave Mario.

As far as who they may go after... Satele (c)

Wimbley (DE/DT), and a few others.

I think the social aspect of getting Peyton (nationally and locally) is well worth it.

I see, well just hoping we get Manning and a better center. Then i really wouldnt care what we did the rest of the off season lol.
