Apparently Broncos owner Pat Bowlen's plane is headed to Raleigh-Durham.Sorry Titans fans looks like Peyton is gonna be a Bronco unless this is just a last second plea from Denver.

He said yesterday he'd only work out for teams he's seriously considering. The Broncos are a player in this deal.

Ugh. I've got to take a mini-vacay, I rarely get worked up about this stuff. Fulmer, Kiffin, Pearl leaving I didn't even get that worked up over and Randy Shannon's stuff didn't remotely surprise or phase me, but this. I don't know, it just feels different when it's Peyton Manning.

As of last night 830, titans had offered contract, he passed the physical with flying colors, and all was looking good. Denver also offered pkg last Fri and it's a good $25 mil 1 yr and 1 option deal. But no post football position, and no OC perks, etc. Elway too much of a control freak and turned Peyton majorly off! Imagine that.... :) Oh and this too... Alex and Peyton were throwing together back in January and Alex said we will all be shocked at how good he looks. velocity is incredible and accuracy is dead on--as always. He is definitely the PM of old and he's new and improved to boot!! He had a bunch of chips took out of his elbow in Late Jan and that's what the whole Duke pictures were about, NOT his fusion.
So ... Take it for what it's worth. I guess we'll see.... :)

Also, people are correct that Denver is on the way to NC to meet agai with Peyton.
