Peyton Manning to ____? (merged)

guys im outta of the loop whats the scoop on rdaz and the preds

This is the best chance we have had of getting him back. Doesn't have to clear waivers, we have a great team, and KHL commish is warming up to letting him go since his season is over.

That'd be sweet preds always need goal scorers. Preds get radz....Titans get Manning....Maybe we can win the BOWL,and the CUP!:good!:

Haha rockin the Orange blazer, nice!

aww yeah. The people at church actually bought it for me as a birthday gift. They had no idea what they were doing to themselves. We have a good time with it all, but we do come across some rather unpleasant UK fans on occasion. A couple years back, a guy was cussing us under his breath at McDonald's when seeing me and my daughter in Vol gear. Can't repeat what he said but it wasn't nice. I guess every fan base some some of those, but I hope we dont have many

Also Peyton has been working at Duke and Cut has said he looks good. there is an article on ESPN about it.

Stokely said he looked great as well, when they threw together in Denver for three days straight. Also Peyton was throwing for two days prior to throwing with Stokely. So I think he is back.

They give us fits that's for sure. (nice word btw, I even used it the other day, you have good tastes). Plus this is at their place. Double whammy.

It's like what has often frustrated me about our Vols, playing to the level of competition.

A reliable source close to my family has ties that are very high in UT's Athletic dept. He told me that Cutcliffe had hinted around but wouldn't openly come out and say it but that Peyton will sign to the Titans and will announce it either tom but no later then Monday. Yes he is finally coming home. Don't ask for a link or name of source just trust me Vols fans the wait is almost over and the news will be official soon.

BOOM!
I thought Cut let the cat out of the bag in a recent interview, where he commented on Peyton regaining his arm strength and being able to make all the throws, etc. The reporter was trying to get him to speculate where he thought Peyton would go. Cut said he and Peyton don't talk about things like that (yeah..right). His next statement was rather odd, if he really wasn't trying to tip his hand.
He immediately said "Peyton loves Tennessee...not just the school, but the state."

 Hint. Hint...?

Life would be great. Im just so happy they are selling out most games. Over the 14,500 revenue sharing cut off. This team will be here very long term. I Love ALL Tennessee pro teams, and the Vols!

Keeping them home proved what a great sport state the state of Tennessee is.

I was amazed. I was so depressed thinking they were for sure gone. That was the first month of my marriage. I remember the rallies, etc. So glad they are doing so well, both on the ice, and attendance wise.

I honestly don't think it will be 20 a year. Plus ive heard that there will be an "injury protection" clause included. You never know though. Im thinking around 18 million.
Mario Williams was supposedly in the 20mill range, so I expect that is the range Peyton's agent would shoot for.

Personally, I would respect Peyton even more if he didn't let his agent try to squeeze the team (whichever it is) for all it's worth. I'm all for players getting what they are legitimately worth, but not when there are so many risks involved, and with the salary caps, it ultimately hurts the team's ability to acquire needed talent.

So you're saying your marriage saved the preds?

That's what im thinking Peyton does. Gets a good, but not break the bank salary, and allow the Titans to add more players to help the cause.
