Like 3* stated, you have to have long term exposure. I'm radiographer so I've studied X radiation and other types of radiation. Electric power sources create a magnetic field which creates a type of radiation that is linked to damaging cells in the human body. Im mobile so no links. Sorry.

Yes Peaches, it is called EMF radiation (I think?). Google 'living near power lines' or something like that. There was a study about 30 years ago that showed childern playing in and around the big lines went on to have an increase in cancer...(as I recall)
