I have family in Athens, Al. Saw reports on tv that a tornado went through there. Anybody have more knowledge on what area of Athens that got hit?

Extensive damage was sustained in the Eagle Point subdivision - same place that got hit before

Here's video taken today of a twister in Athens.

Sorry man, I haven't heard anything yet.

Yeah I tried calling them but line was busy. Power likely out all over the area.

I feel fortunate here in Memphis that were likely not going to get much of anything but my heart goes out to those in Middle and East TN.

New weather update says storms shouldn't reach Nashville till 4. Kinda glad cause now I can leave before they get here and get back to Cookeville

I'm in Davidson, NC for the weekend. Apparently the TOR:CON here is around 4 for the middle of the night. Glad I'm on the third floor of a hotel!
