Evidence, not answers. Any new chapters in the Bible?
No, if you want a christian bashing thread make one and Ill be more than happy to join.
I'm not trying to play gotcha, Thrasher.!!!,
you have nothing in the way of evidence to answer the question so you lash out. Don't be like that. Go back a read the 1st couple of pages and see what I'm about.
Be like Volatile. He had the balls early on to say science doesn't know yet. And did so respectfully.
Sorry if it came off this way, it can be frustrating discussing with people who are just going to continue to be closed minded no matter what. (Not directed at you, slice)
People that have no rhyme or reason to back up their opinions should just stay on the sidelines.
"Faith" can be a legitimate reason, if you want it to be, but it has no part in this discussion, IMO.
You didn't give me an answer. You cited a book, which obviously I have no way of getting at this very moment, so that does nothing for the discussion.
Respectfully.
I never said that science had the answers, but science continually pursues them.
Not so much "expansion" as life.
(Warning The views about to be expressed by OS13 are usually considered wack and often get him in trouble with both Christians and scientist alike.)
To properly understand the question I must first state what I believe.
I believe that God is who he claims to be.
I believe that he chose to reveal himself threw scripture.
I believe that Religion and science do not have to be separated. in fact God created science so God is science.
I believe that when God and science disagree there are two reasons to explain the discrepancy. 1) improper reading of the scripture. (ex. age of the earth) 2) Science has yet to figure out how God did it. (ex. Today's topic)
I believe that it is up to every person to decide for themselves about God.
I believe that others should be respected in their beliefs. Without respect it is impossible to learn about yourself.
My question that started this thread from my point of view should have been " How did God flip the switch that started life?" out of respect for everyone I thought it would be better to ask how life began from a science point of view.
What exactly do christians not pursue?

Christians accept that they already have all the answers, and they don't look any further.
For the most part, of course. There are plenty of Christian scientists, and some that seek to apply scientific theory to religious text to explain what is meant in the Bible.
That's not at all what was going on. I get frustrated when I try to have this discussion and they throw out the trump card. "Because the Bible says so."
When Gramps threw that out there, maybe it got under my skin a little, because there is nothing you can say to that, and therefore, I believe if you're going to be like that you don't need to come in a thread like this.
