What happened? I enjoy shopping for my pup at Petsmart.

Generally buy stuff from farm supply stores, but I havent found a good one yet.

Just like any other "multi-unit" store, probably just this one.

When Behr was 6 months old I wanted to take him to get a nice "Groom". I asked some friends that had dogs where I should take him and 3 of 4 gave me the same girls phone number. She was booked for 6 weeks.

I took him to Petsmart and they told me to leave him and come back in two hours.

They clipped his nails, flea and tick dip, bathed, brushed, trimmed his coat, anal glands and cleaned his ears. $40 and I gave a $20 tip.

Got home and noticed blood on the carpet. Examined hin thoroughly and took him to the vet.

Two nails on front right paw, 1 nail on left front paw and 1 nail on right rear paw was cut so short they were bleeding.....

His left ear was cut with scissors so bad it required 4 stitches. (it was covered with a tan "Band-aide").

They f'ed up and I can understand "F'ups", but hiding it and not telling me......???? F'um.

Give me shat, I deserve it for not checking him out better before I left, but I didn't think about it. Will never happen again.

That's why I like my short haired dogs. Except having to sweep and vacuum 24/7. Always trade offs.

They f'ed up and I can understand "F'ups", but hiding it and not telling me......???? F'um.

Give me shat, I deserve it for not checking him out better before I left, but I didn't think about it. Will never happen again.

I would have f'd someone up over that. I can't control my rage when it comes to someone hurting my girls. I definitely would have been in jail.:angry:

Wow, that's awful! I've never had any grooming done there...I just buy food/treats/supplies.

I had a mobile groomer talk me into letting her groom my Sheltie (Prince) I had for 13 years. After 2 minutes and I heard him yelp and saw she had him tied down to a table. I ripped open the van door and she screamed in fear. I grabbed up my boy and flexed a half punch toward her face and she scrambled to the front drivers seat and sped away. Prince was trembling. I felt so bad I would never use a groomer ever again.

Like I said, it may have been that one store and/or that one "groomer", but it bothered (to say the least) me enough, I'm done with them.

I get his food online, his treats are fresh veggies and occasional Marrow bones from one of his biggest fans (the butcher at Publix.)

Took our dogs to Petsmart once for grooming. Never again. Not as bad as your experience but they had no clue what they were doing.
