License expired 10 days ago & finally got it renewed on Wednesday. This morningin the middle of nowhere in NC, Highway Patrol have a checkpoint on an off ramp. Glad I got it renewed.

That's odd. For me anyway. I've never seen one during the day.

In TN on I-40 they used to put up a sign that said "Drug Check point two miles ahead" right before exit 402. Well that was my exit anyway so I head down the off ramp around the corner and boom! Deputies everywhere. They were catching idiots trying to dodge the forewarned drug check point that did not exist two miles ahead. It was on that exit ramp. They gave me the 3rd degree about what street I was headed to and why I was there.

Saw that once headed home on Friday night. 4 lane with traffic lights. They were on the other side busting all the drunks who made u-turns.

California used to do a rolling check point in some cities. Two cars and a pick up truck with traffic cones. They would randomly stop the truck, through out the cones and no way to avoid it. They'd check 10-20 cars, throw the cones in the truck and do it again on a different street.

This, got a great deal today. Been pricing the xl igloo dog houses. Petsmart had the best deal with the online coupons I had was 159 and change.

The spidey sense said go to walmart. Roughly the same thing, 75% off got three for $35 each.
