Florida State. If he had been playing Memphis instead of the Seminoles, I'm pretty certain he would have been in position to win more. Also, Nebraska was very, very good. It certainly wasn't anyone in the SEC that slowed him down.If Spurrier is such a God, what is his excuse for not winning multiple NCs back then?
Lexvol is saying that parity has not hurt the UT program. It is laziness that has slayed the dragon.
Lexvol will go to his grave believing that LSU was the best team in the country last year, and if Spurrier or Bob Stoops had that talent they would have cleaned the SEC's clock.
OK, let's go with what we do know. Nick Saban won a National Title at LSU with a less talented team. It is totally realistic to assume he would have waltzed through the SEC last year.Because there is NO WAY to know how Spurrier would have done with that team, it doesn't matter what you THINK might have happened...

The list of coaches who would have run the table in the SEC with LSU's talent is very long.Lexvol is saying that parity has not hurt the UT program. It is laziness that has slayed the dragon.

Your allowed to think whatever you want and form your own opinion but there is no way to know for sure...
If it was laziness I don't think we would have pulled a phenominal recruiting class, I think it has more to do with motivation...
