No doubt that would be good, I just can't seem to imagine Lobster Mac N Cheese.

I haven't had it in mac and cheese, but have had it in mashed potatoes, at maestro's steakhouse in Scottsdale and they were awesome

Yeah, I guess it just depends on the "meat". I've made some really good dishes with small claw and tail pieces and even used imitation, but quality Lobster should be enjoyed by itself. Same with King Crab. IMO.

I did to start with. I tried it and really liked it (it is made with the "bits" of lobster, not really the choice pieces). I still have a hard time meshing (in my mind) any kind of seafood and cheese lol

I know what you mean.

The meat from the "knuckles" from King Crab, that most people don't like, are really good in an Alfredo dish. That's a restaurant thing tho. Buy a case of King Crab Legs and you get a lot of those pieces that you really can't serve and have to do something with.

Can't imagine seafood and cheese? Are you people CRAZY????

Sullivan's, on Sullivan Island (Charleston), has a dish you need to try called 7 layer pasta.

Essentially crab, lobster and shrimp in an alfredo style sauce with linguine. You will **** your pants. Especially if you are lactose intolerant.

I made the mistake of eating my entire steam pot before even tasting the woman's 7 layer pasta, then I had to eat her meal, too! I couldn't even get out of the car that night!

Yes, I am CRAZY!!!

Seriously, that's a bit different. I just meant I'm not going to make Mac N Cheese with seafood.

Alfredo with seafood is in a different class with me

Still, lobster Mac n cheese is legit. Not all that classy, but taaaasty.

Even Red Lobster can't **** it up.

I don't care about being "Classy or Uppity". It's like adding Beluga Caviar to tuna salad or mixing Cristal with coke.

Why?

I just had a dish from a questionable looking establishment called seafood ala venice ( I think) it was crab, shrimp, and lobster stuffed raviolis with a spicy cream sauce. It was wonderful. Also I ran up on Brie cheese on sale for 1.99 per 7 oz wedge and bought a couple. What can I do with them? How do you serve them or what is a good dish to use it in?

I made one of my favorite dishes ever tonight! Fried fish.

What made it remarkable was the fact that it wasn't completely bad for me! Using olive oil, egg, and grated parmesan. With some spices, it was phenomenal!!!

Pan fried, right?

I wanna use our fryer more, but cheap oil is so bad for you. It would be like $10 just in oil to use olive oil.
