Dalton silently committed to Texas while on his visit. His biggest concern was being able to call coach Dooley before anything was announced. Per his wishes, his dad and texas pretty much kept it quiet giving him the chance to speak with coach Dooley. Dalton did grow up a Texas fan, but no doubt he has a special place in his heart for Tennessee, the chance to play for the home state school and make his family proud was a offer he couldnt pass up.

Dalton is a man, yes he left us just a few days before nsd, but under the circumstances its was handled well. I wish all recruits would show the respect Dalton has shown in this process. He gets nothing but respect from me, people like Gabe Wright can take a hike for all i care.

Personally, I don't give 2 ****s how he does at Texas, like someone else said, you're either with us or against us. :hi:

Pretty damn logical to think Texsuck swooped in and being a second thought was good enough to Dalton. Dream team, child hood team or whatever. Screw Texas and Mac Brown's sorry underacheiving azz. Guy won't see the field but from the bench, enjoy.

But its not logical to think they did it to spite us.

Agreed. It just shows that not only they underacheive on the field, they underacheive at evaluting the talent in their own state. They probably pay Rivals to jack up their over inflated recruiting rankings. If they were half as good as they say they are every year, they'd be in the title game almost as much as some random SEC team.

Either that or Mac Brown is as big a failure as most think he is. There is a slight possiblity that this is the case.

We will be happy with peters. I've said more than once (before he switched to texas) that he would be the better player imo. He more than likely would have been a good one though
