First off,,I don't like texas. My wife is from texas and she cant stand "that" horrible place. But I will,,,ummm,,agree with you. Been a lot of posts about Dalton starting in the SEC but riding the pine in the big whatever conference. Put it this way, if Dalton is good enough to start in the SEC - he's good enough to start in any conference. He would have been great at the real UT and I'm sure he'll be great at the other ut. GBO.

Santos would have been nice a backup at UT behind AJ and played special teams, but it didn't work out....Can't understand the obsession and almost 10k posts. Good luck to the kid. He will not affect us moving forward. Go Vols

This is why you will see Santos at DE probably after a redshirt year..

I hope they told him this and it's just his choice to do that at Tex over seeing the field early at MLB/ILB here at UT...

Maybe on kick return team... line? Seems too slow to be on the kicking team in the SEC. :hi:

At the risk of a dozen VN posters asking for me to be banned:

The team was poorly coached. They couldn't tackle. They couldn't block. They only played hard for a half. They looked ill-prepared for high level competition. They looked worse than 2010 in almost every aspect of the game. They got worse as the season went on.

Record is one thing. Not sure how much that could have been helped. The inability to compete is another. No way Saban's teams LOOK like that. You have to believe your eyes at some point. It's not an exercise in freakin data analysis.

Doolaiders are kings of name calling... really it's their only comeback seeing how they have no real argument to the fact that this program is not heading in the right direction under the current head coach. The last straw for me was the UK loss. It is comical listening to these guys (Doolaiders) make excuses for that one. Now were back to "year zero" with the new staff so watch, we'll get that excuse next year if/when we have yet another losing season under Dools.

I always have, and always will hate the University of Texas. I really liked Santos, but he has chosen to be a part of that program. So now I officially despise him. I can't, and will not wish him luck because I hate the University of Texas and always have. He is a enemy now, so screw him. I hope he rots on the bench.

When Santos is redshirted and then recruited over like he was almost done this year by Texas, where will he transfer to? I wonder who his parents will pick then. How could a kid or parents pick a team that didn't want or consider him until all the other options were gone? Just doesn't make sense. I know. Texas is close to home. I wish him luck and I hope things work out.

I have been here the entire time declaring that Santos is a decent player...not a legend like we have made him. otha peters is the man in this class. Our future at LB is with Otha...

If UT has another losing season, Dooley will be gone. That's pretty obvious. I have faith in Hart to make the hire necessary if this happens.

Feel free to live up to your username though. Just because you don't like the coach doesn't mean you have to whine and complain constantly. It's okay to disagree and all, but it seems like you just want to pick fights with people who support the program as a whole.

I mean, none of us have any control over what happens in the AD anyway. So complaining over something you can't control doesn't get you anywhere.
