Deservedly so...Miles looked like an imbecile the whole game. Not to mention, the way he treated Lee was just low down.

I started to give Miles more credit this year, that he finally realized he could beat teams straight up without all the shenanigans, but after the NCG, well....

He was who we thought he was!

If it wasn't for grades, Marshall doesn't even get mentioned. He is a Vol the second he has a conmitable offer, imo

Absolutely. You don't flip from The U to Marshall due to anything other than being asked, and in this case it was clearly due to grades. If Tennessee gives him the green light, then he leaves Knoxville a Vol.

i would have to agree, really hope we can get him in. i have faith that dooley isnt wasting his time on a lost cause so i think he will. if we can get him and kirven in then we will have 9 players in the rivals 250. pretty dang impressive

Indeed. He leaves as a commit tomorrow, if Dooley thinks he can be cleared by the AA.

Very impressive. Just don't want to sign him, loss him due to grades and have to place

would definitely suck, honestly would much rather take a borderline prospect and hope he works out if thats the case cause who knows if we could win the battle next year. if we werent completely certain of it i would favor throwing a schollie at tevin bryson or some other in state kid who bleeds orange but was maybe on the outside looking in til now. but hopefully santos and the rest of the commits stay on the vol train and we dont have to worry about what to do with an extra spot.

Bryson I would agree with. Noone else brings what this cat does though. I would rather take the chance and strike out than take the shoe in commit with a low ceiling.

With the extra spot we get because of Bullard, I say take the risk.

Absolutely take the risk. No question in my mind, we have to cut alot of numbers in the 85 for this class to fit.

There will be more attrition after spring practice. Many will start to see the writing on the wall and transfer out a la Nick Stephens.

I say take the shot. Worst case, he doesn't clear and it helps with the numbers next year where we are pretty tight.

In the ninth inning with a slight lead, I'm going for the home run and not the single.

Will We be able to get 25 next year?

What is the word in regards to Leggett and the mutual interest between the Vols and Leggett?

Did we offer?

Will he accept and sign?

So in other words we can still grey shirt 3 this year? I thought the 25 rule was to completely stop the grey shirting? So what do we do just cut 3 people from scholarship if none transfer or quit? I am a little confused now.

Not to mention I don't see a single player on the 09 class I would want to cut. The only players you see not contributing is from the 08 class and who wants to cut a Sr. and who would quit their Sr. year after sticking around this long going through all they went through.

I think we may wait on him until NSD to see what happens with some of our current commits and a few other possible surprise guys that haven't been talked about a whole lot.

If we take his commit right now that probably means we are losing someone currently committed.

He said Tennessee gave him a lot to think about going into signing day and while he's still committed to Marshall right now anything can happen on signing day. Full story will be up in a bit.
