Yea he came back as a rookie in buffalo and ran for like 1100 yards i think.. But it shall be interesting to see if he is able to come back full strength 1 year post injury..

Hunter had a simple tear. He didn't just rip his knee apart. Similar to Lee Evans. Evans tore his ACL then came back for blood. If Hunter is already running some I think in 7-8 months he'll be ready to roll to an extent. He doesn't have to learn a new system either. I think with Hunter, Rogers, Neal, Rivera, Clear, Downs, Bowles, Croom, hopefully Patterson, and the young back we'll have(as long as we're healthy) one of the top 3 passing attacks in the country.

But if we were able to somehow land Patterson our offense would have to become pass heavy with the opportunity to consistently rotate fresh bodies every down..

If we could pull it off in this league I'd be happy, but we've got to be honest and and admit that until we get some semblance of a running game we're going to be victims to the best defenses.

This!

I just thought of an extreme case to prove that (in the words of Kevin Garnett):
ANYTHING IS POSSIBLLLEEEE!

Hope we see a lot more of that guy in 2012.

SIAP but "X"'s new article gives a final breakdown on Patterson. he said the staff is cautiously optimistic about him heading into Wednesday FWIW.

I just read that entire article. It sounds like "X" reads VN, IMO.

I'm pretty sure he does, and writes an article based on what he reads on here. Take Lambert for example, he read it on here and posted it as if he came up with something on his own.

Guys don't forget about Raijon Neal as a WR. He has serious speed and played much better as the season went along. He will be a big part of the offense next year and I think he will make up for Arnett's departure.

He was basically the only person that came to play the UK game and got us on the board with a 52 yard TD and over 100 yard performance. He is a serious deep threat and a dynamic player.

Just think of the possibilities next year with Hunter, Rogers, and Patterson in 3 WR set. They would destroy zone coverage and nobody can cover all 3 man to man. Now Hunter has to come back healthy and return to form. I don't want to compare Patterson to Kenny O'Neal but until he steps on field then we will not know. I wish he had been an early enrollee but I think he signs with Vols on Feb 1.

Glad you mentioned it, Fingers. Was just about to bump this thread. Hope that we get some really good news tonight from Skeeter about the in-home visit with CP and Hinshaw. Lock him down, CDH!
