I got a feeling he will soul search up until a NSD, and damn that sucks

I think DS will commit to Texas while on campus this weekend. That gives you guys a couple of days to work on that wavering Rutgers 4* recruit who looks to be a very good player. Someone would have to be insane to want to live in NJ instead of Tennessee.

FYI: I am Mack Brown's neighbor's cousin's co-worker.

Sh** just got real...

It was a sarcastic remark. I didn't mean anything by it. Most people here know I enjoy being a smart ass. Ignore me and carry on.

No prob, man. I just tend to speak my mind and what I am feeling about a situation. I am sure that "arrogant" probably isn't Dalton's dad, but if he is, then I hope that he will consider some outside thoughts on the situation that they are in. Will it make a difference? Probably not. However, every once in a blue moon, it makes a difference and may make those involved to look at things from a different angle. Everyone on here wants to say that if they were in the same situation w/ TN offering late, then they would jump on it...no matter what. If we were really in Dalton's situation, then I don't think it is as easy to say that. The way that I see it is what I consider a realistic view...trying to take off my orange-tinted (TN orange that is) sunglasses and view it outside of my love for the BIG ORANGE.
Dalton should honor his commitment and go to OSU because that's where he committed first, right? It wasn't a big deal when he decommited from them to commit to Tennessee but now he's such a bad kid because he is doing what you were ok with the first time?
First and foremost let me just say say im a little late to the game.... so i hear that you are Daltons dad. If that is the case. Then congratulations to you and your son on this opportunity to have so many choices for your son to attend school. I wish you luck and im sure you have your sons best interest at heart. i too am a father and understand that when you are a father you put your child first before youself so im sure your not forcing him into anything. Good luck on your choice i hope he picks UTK and not UTA but i guess time will tell.:hi:

I would say the main difference here is the timing. He de-committed early in the process. Now he is wavering a few days before NSD?

I mean no offense with this bro, but you are about as long winded as a Southern Baptist preacher.

On topic, people might need to stop and think that he is making one of the bigger decisions in his young life, and decisions like that take some time. I think we all hope he ends up at UT; if not, no real need to bad mouth him or his family.

As much as I want Dalton, NSD is there for a reason. To place a deadline on decisions. He's free to make his at any time, but isnt tied to it until NSD or he signs on the dotted line. Neither has occured as of this moment.

Stop the malice towards the boy. He has a right to make his decision based on all information available to him up, and until, he signs his papers.

To decommit from a place before your senior season starts is NOT the same thing as decomitting from a place a few weeks before NSD for a team who didn't care about you until those few weeks before NSD. I'll say the same about Briscoe the DT. It's crap. Dalton is in their back yard and it apparently took a phone call from Dalton's old man. The SEC fits Dalton's mold better and if he wants to venture into a DE/OLB no mans land then go nuts. If I'm a LB with a passion or hitting people in the mouth then there is no way I'd go to Texas because those moments will be fewer. JmoIMOSIAPBBQWTFROFL

Like I said on another thread, if he doesn't want to be here, then we really don't want him. We don't want to spend time and money developing him if he's gonna leave after a year or so.

I only want him here if this is where he wants to be.
