I did hahahahahaha(I'm around his size with a little more weight). Playing corner and you get a dude around the size of Rogers coming at you all game. You have to either play off a little or make it into a dogfight. Rogers just mangled him.

I don't think people on this board fully understand just how good Da'Rick is.

Well, if they don't know, then they will come next year. He will be even better, when he has JH lining up on the other side of the field, and some of these other stud WRs that we are bringing in. When you have to account for high-quality talent all over the field, then there will be no double coverage. I think that Da'Rick will have a field day in the middle 1/3 of the field next year.

I'll wait until Tuesday night to get excited. Until then, everyone is going to be trying to make a case about this guy. He's too quiet for anyone to feel good about it.

The 2 are UGA and the barn. No. 3 is UT. JMHO.

They don't. I have had about 4 or 5 discussions/arguments with posters on VN since the season has been over about that very topic.

Da'Rick was 1st team All-SEC WR as a true sophomore. That is impressive enough. It becomes a truly amazing season when you consider the adversity/problems he was faced with. 1) Had a combination of Simms/Worley throwing him the ball for over half the season. 2) No running game on the offense to take pressure off of him. 3) No other WR on offense that was a threat to do anything.

Basically double teamed all year and put up an impressive 1,000 yard season. Not bad.

For my two cents' worth, I still firmly believe Patterson will don the orange come NSD. Most of you posters who've been here a while know I don't have any sources or try to act like I do or anything like that, heck I probably just jabber too much as it is haha. That said, a couple of months ago I posted some info on Patterson I got from a person who I figure is pretty legit, or certainly moreso than me. He is a recruiting intern at UT and is in the offices every day. He said then that Patterson personally told Coach Dooley he was coming to UT but would officially announce on signing day. Fast forward til about a week ago. I figured there was no way he was coming now but the guy said Patterson told the coaches again he thought it was still UT but he wanted to make 100% sure he was comfortable with Coach Hinshaw as his position coach. What this amounts to I guess is that CDH has done a phenominal job here and I fully expect him to land Patterson. I'm sure this'll be ripped apart but I just thought I'd post what I knew. :hi:
