The more I think about it, even though he only has 2 years, him and Hunter on the outside with Da'Rick moving back to slot... with Pig/Dallas will be sick.

Hinshaw was with Jason Croom on Monday night and may be the last team to see Cordarrelle Patterson before the dead period as he's scheduled to see Patterson Friday night. All of his remaining five, Tennessee, Georgia, Auburn, Ole Miss and LSU, are set to see him on Thursday or Friday.

That seems like a pretty stacked list of possible schools. I hope we can get a great WR coach in here quick.

I think it will be between UGA/UT because of the QB's, although I would rather he went to AU than UGA for our sake. UGA seems to have the upper hand because they don't have a Rogers/Hunter duo on their squad, so he could come in and be the first or second WR immediately.
That may be true, but assuming Chaney will want to put CP in as the 3rd WR and run a lot of 3-4wide sets, CP would present the biggest mismatch as he'd get a safety or nickel back rather than the opponent's two best corners. He'd be able to clean up like a school janitor.

I have to believe a lot of SEC staffs will dump a brick if they see us get CP. I would not want to face a team with a QB like Bray and 3 WR's like him, JH and DR

This. I'm sure we are the last school anyone in the SEC wants to see CP sign with.

Don't forget Croom as a redzone target and Pig as a slot speedster as well. Bowles is still a wildcard in my mind, but having all those guys + CP = SCARY passing attack for our opponents this year. Now, if we can just figure out that whole running thing...

Hope AU and UGA have Thursday night visits and we get the last visit on Friday. I don't think LSU/Ole Miss are serious players here.

Hinshaw was responsible for Howard. If he gets Patterson then the guy has definitely earned his paycheck and a raise. It's looking like WR and DT could be our best two positions in this years class, but a lot of that depends on whether we get Patterson or Kirven. LB is good too, but things don't look good with Santos.

Any additional info other than what we are hearing?

Just curious - why do you say that Bowles is a "wildcard"? I've seen similar assessments from other posters, and I wonder why he's overlooked as a potential high level contributor at WR in this class. He's far and away the highest rated WR prospect in this class (at least if you follow Rivals). I know that Croom's size and Pig's athleticism have a lot of people excited (for good reason), and there's the possibility of Bowles projecting as a DB. Any explanation, though? I'm not necessarily disagreeing with posters' outlook for Bowels, but I'm probably more excited about him as a WR prospect than the other two, personally.

It was from Hubbs. One of those TWIW comments. But Hubbs has always been more reserved when it comes to making such observations, so I feel it has a decent level of credibility to it. That and it was a chance to take a jab at a rival fan.

What does TWIW stand for?

I think he's trying to abbreviate take it for what its worth.

Also, Hubbs' opinion that it its between us and UGA is not the same as a quote from Patterson saying the same.

I have some small insight into this situation. Mama wants her boy close to home. The only schools that qualify are UT and UGA. Both have stud qb's, both have a solid reputation for producing WR's. Unfortunately for us, the crotchsniffer's have both more recent success, a more stable HC'ing situation, and less of a depth chart log jam at WR, both on campus and in this class. I think we'll make it interesting, but in the end, he goes to jawja.
