Wow. Everyone needs to get their teenage daughters off their VN account. A lot of insecure Vol fans on tonight. Has anyone ever visited Austin? Let the kid have fun with the process. We're in good shape here and it's much better that he's visiting Austin than College Station.

Will be interesting to see what happens. I still think it is more about Dad than Dalton.

There is only one UT and it sure as hell is not in Texas.

This one will all come down to if he lets his fandom get in the way of being successful long-term. The Big 12 is a joke of a conference that doesn't know what running the football means. Dalton is better suited to play in the SEC, but sometimes things like that go out the window when Texas kids get the Longhorn offer.

I don't see Sal as one to just give up on a recruit, so he will take his last visit that he is allowed to take and make the best of it..If it doesn't work and he flips to Texas, then so be it..We gave it our best shot.:wink2:

At least Sal go a nice country fried steak meal from the Santos family.

you know his recruitment is like pagan's last year, except pagan wasn't committed to us for almost a year.

We need Santos. Based on his comments after Sunseri's visit, I would be surprised if he flipped to TX, however, if Pops is involved as much as others say, I guess anything could happen. Keep our fingers crossed...

Still a Vol, but I would be a little worried about the visit to Austin. He grew up a huge Longhorn fan. However, the fact that they started recruiting him a week before NSD works in the Vols favor.

I appreciate it. The more vehemently you disagree the more my opinion is confirmed.

Why the hell would you stop recruiting a commit because he's taking a visit? The coaches can show where he is a better fit in sec, how sunseris scheme is a better fit, and weigh the pros and cons of both programs. It would be beyond dumb to waste the resources we have 10 days before because you are scared he's taking a visit.

How the hell does he think quitting just before the finish line is salvaging pride? I agree beyond dumb

We've shown our hand already. All the cards are on the table. He seemed pretty convinced last time we were down there.
