I think hes a Longhorn too.

Imagine what YOU would do if the roles were reversed. You and your family were all Volunteers, you committed to Texas because TN never offered, but then...at the last moment TN offered you, you'd flip in a min. I know I would.

Dont blame him if he switches and will wish him well. Just a shame that fanhood can overtake all the hard work and effort CDD and staff have put into a recruit. Another reason Id hate to have my paycheck depend on the whims of 17 and 18 year olds.

Sort of like Randall Cobb? Tennessee offered him at the last minute, he told us to shove it, went to Lexington and became a star.

IIRC, they were going to fly. If so, tickets are something like triple that late. If you are going to drive it then you probably don't just pack up on Friday afternoon and take off. I'm not that worried about that.

This kid wants to be sure. Respect his right to do that.

No he said the drive was too long. Either way , it's in the past now and he didn't visit.

Santos's words on Texas seems like he has really been waiting on that offer, but something tells me that Texas is too little too late on Santos. He's stuck with Tennessee this far, and I think he's impressed with Sunseri coaching him up and leading the defense next year. He has a new home as a Tennessee Vol and he knows that. I think he'll be a Vol by NSD.

I really do like this guy and hope we get him, but after reading the 247 article about him visiting TX, I'm not sure he's worth 350 VN pages. We have loyal Vol commits like Justin King and Drae Bowles that if you put their threads together wouldn't equal his.

I move to have everyone who claimed he was going to Texas permanently removed from this thread if he sticks with Tennessee.

I'm not trying to overreact but I just don't see how we keep him if Texas really wants him. I'm almost always positive but I'm just being real here. Really hope I'm wrong.

Maybe because they have waited this late to offer and recruit him? I would be extremely surprised if he flips to Texas. Tennessee is his new home now. Just sit back and enjoy the ride that is recruiting. Everything's fine, no need to panic.

This is the worst thing that could have happened for our chances IMO. Still holding out hope, though.

If Santos flips to Texas then there is nothing that the coaches nor the fans can do about it. We need to be big boys and girls and move on.

I'm not panicking. I'm very excited for NSD and we are going to have a great class whether Dalton Santos is a part of it or not. :good!:
